8. Do you need to have a License?
Yes, all our massage therapists are fully licensed and insured professionals with extensive experience in various massage techniques.
9. Can I request a male or female therapist?
No, the only service provider is a male. If you wish to see a female therapist, I can give you recommendations.
10. What should I expect during my first massage?
I will arrive a few minutes early to set up. Then I will ask you a few questions about your health and preferences to tailor the massage to your needs. During the session, you can communicate with me to adjust pressure and comfort levels. You may undress to your level of comfort, and a sheet and blanket will cover you appropriately at all times. Your back, legs, and arms will be undraped (uncovered) when worked on and then covered back up. You should feel safe and secure the whole time, and if you don’t, please say something. Thank you.
11. Do you offer couples or group massages?
No, I don’t offer couples or group massages. You can, however, book as a couple in the same location, one after the other, for a small discount. (Example: Husband at 3 pm, Wife at 4 pm). If two or more subsequent massages happen in the same location, each 1-hour session will receive a 3% discount. 2-hour sessions don’t get this discount because the discount is already built into the price. If the travel fee applies, only the first session at the residence needs to pay it.
12. Is tipping expected?
Tipping is appreciated but not required. If you feel I provided exceptional service, you are welcome to tip; however, please don’t feel pressured.
13. Can I use my insurance for your services?
I do not bill insurance directly, but I can provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
14. What COVID-19 precautions are you taking?
I follow strict hygiene protocols, including sanitizing all equipment between clients, wearing masks (upon request), and practicing regular handwashing. I ask that clients also reschedule upcoming appointments if they’re sick. Thank you.
15. How can I provide feedback?
I truly value your feedback! Please leave a review, comments, or suggestions, or ask any questions on the contact page.
